Robbery in Wisma Arjuna
Two robbers broke into an apartement
in Wisma Arjuna last night and escaped with over us$ 20,000 worth of cash and
jewelry. The owner of the apartment, Dr. F. Basuki, said he had locked the apartment
before he went to bed, but the robbers had broken a small kitchen window to
enter the apartment. One of the robbers carried a knife and tied up Dr. Basuki
and his wife before taking the jewelry and money from bedroom.
Police searched the apartment
carefully this morning to see if the robbers had left anything behind.
Inspector Edy Budiarto of the city police department said the robbers had left
fingerprints on the kitchen window and the police hope to make an arrest soon.
